Samantha Scott grew up in Irvine having attended Deerfield and Eastshore Elementary schools as well as Venado Middle School. After attending SDSU she returned to Irvine and recieved a teaching credential from Concordia University. She has been teaching here in Irvine, ever since and is currently in her 17th year. During her 17 years she taught 15 years as an Elementary Science Specialist and is in her 2nd year as a 6th grade teacher. She has served many roles in IUSD in addition to teaching including many years as a TAC and Induction Support Provider and Cohort Lead. Outside of teaching Samantha enjoys spending time camping, hiking, and travelling every chance she gets.
