Ever wanted to take your students on a field trip to the Great Barrier Reef or step on stage during a ballet performance? Well, now you can - virtually! Virtual Reality transports your students into other worlds using a mobile device and a VR viewer, allowing you to break down the four walls of your classroom and get exploring with your students. Google offers many different ways to experience Virtual Reality. In this workshop, we’ll learn about Google Cardboard, YouTube 360 Videos, Google Street View and Google Expeditions. We’ll transform your classroom and curriculum into an adventure around the world and beyond. In this workshop, we’ll dive into planning and weaving VR lessons into the K-12 classroom. We’ll also explore a variety of devices, equipment, and provide tutorials on the technical setup for Virtual Reality in the classroom. This is an adventure you don’t want to miss.
