Adobe Spark: Digital Storytelling in Fiction & Nonfiction

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Our kids voices need to be heard. Whether they’re inventing a story with a character who faces a challenge they’ve been through or trying to change the narrative about a real world topic they feel passionate about- kids have stories to tell. In order to combat what Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie calls, “The Danger of the Single Story”, our students need to flood the world with their voice, ideas, and perspectives.

Participants will
  • look at real examples of digital storytelling in Kindergarden-High school
  • discuss the benefits/challenges of using movie or print to tell stories
  • build their own story with this tool
  • Presentation Resources
