Imagine living in the magical world of Harry Potter, where in the school hallways are hung with lively, interactive paintings that tell their stories. Augmented reality (AR) allows teachers and students to create layers of digital information that can be viewed through an Android or iOS device. In this workshop we will explore augmented reality resources and discover how to create our own AR elements in order to put this this powerful tool in the hands of students. Session Resources
* Bring your phone or tablet and come discover the many educational possibilities of AR!
Learning Objectives - Participants will be able to:
- become familiar with the concept of augmented reality (AR);
- reflect on the added value of augmented reality in their teaching practices;
- explore activities and applications that could be used in the classroom;
- share ideas related to the pedagogical integration of AR.
